Mohamad Abbas
Four Seasons Hotel Beirut Pastry Chef

Unparalleled pastries, specialty breads, decadent desserts, artisan chocolates, couture cakes and towering wedding cakes – veteran Pastry Chef Mohammad Abbas continues to set Four Seasons Hotel Beirut apart with his innovative creations.

As pastry chef, Lebanese-born Abbas is responsible for creating the hotel’s delicious in-room amenities for guests, developing imaginative signature desserts for banquet events along with dining outlets such as The Grill, The Roof, Arabesque and The Lobby Lounge, and crafting the hotel’s annual holiday creations. Mohammad, who oversees a talented team of nine pastry chefs, also creates intricate wedding cakes and desserts for the Hotel’s many weddings.
Chef Mohammad’s culinary career started as a child with his natural inclination for hard work and interest in the arts. He graduated at 20 and always believed that as a pastry chef, you must be trained in both, and by focusing on this goal at such an early age, he now is a master in each craft.
Since joining Four Seasons in 2010, Mohammad has developed his skills by conducting cross exposures in other Four Seasons Properties such as Baku, Hong Kong, Saint Petersburg and the Bellouet Conseil. Abbas keeps a close eye on new techniques, noting that pastry is a “whole other world” within the culinary arts that demands artistry and creativity.

Prior to Four Seasons, Mohammad worked at Intercontinental Phoenicia, Metropolitan Palace, Habtoor Grand Hotel, Safir Heliopolitan and Royal Plaza Hotels.
